Role Description: The Communications Intern will play a crucial role in supporting Primient's internal and external communications initiatives. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in corporate communications within a manufacturing and corporate environment. The intern will assist the Marketing & Communications team with various tasks, including the creation and distribution of company announcements, press releases, social media content, and other key messaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic team. Additional housing stipend from $1,500 to $3,000 depending on work and candidate's location. Department: Marketing & Communications Location: Schaumburg, IL Schedule: Hybrid (3 days office/2 days WFH) Wage: $22.00 - $24.00/hour

Requirements

  • Demonstrated skills in copywriting and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of internal and external communication plans.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading a wide range of content, including articles, blog posts, and marketing materials.
  • Contribute to the company's social media strategy, including content creation and scheduling.
  • Aid in the planning and coordination of internal events and campaigns.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to help inform communication strategies.
