About The Position

The Marketing & Ad Sponsorship Consultant will manage and produce key activations around sports sponsorships across various channels. This role involves collaboration with internal and external creative teams to ensure consistent representation of sponsorship messaging and brand design in all creative materials. The consultant will also support the development and measurement of paid media plans, coordinate with PR for earned media opportunities, and maximize marketing placements with sponsorship properties.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sports or sponsorship marketing.
  • Strong writing skills and a passion for sponsorship, brand, and marketing disciplines.
  • Experience with sponsorship property reviews/approvals and hands-on experience with integrated marketing campaigns.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in paid media and broadcast is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with video content development is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and produce key activations around sports sponsorships across owned, paid, earned, and property channels.
  • Work with internal and external creative support to develop briefs and execute digital/social creative, web pages, print ads, video content, and other creative assets.
  • Ensure clear, consistent representation of sponsorship messaging and brand design in all creative materials.
  • Manage social media, internal communications, leadership engagement, and overall owned channel amplification of sponsorship activities.
  • Support team members and media agency to develop, implement, and measure paid media plans across digital, social, broadcast, and other placements.
  • Coordinate and track reviews of copy and creative assets, both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate with PR on press releases and relevant earned media opportunities.
  • Work with sponsorship properties to maximize marketing placements on their digital, social, and other channels.
  • Concept and execute additional tactics that help drive awareness, understanding, and/or brand love with our people, clients, and target audiences.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and properties to ensure all contractual sponsorship assets are being fulfilled and coordinated.
  • Coordinate with sponsorship hospitality team to integrate key marketing messages into hospitality programming.
  • Contribute to status calls with internal stakeholders and sponsorship properties, managing agendas, notes, and action items.
  • Support campaign assessment and recapping - both qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Work with other key internal departments to maximize sponsorship impact, quality, and measurement.
  • Support overall sponsorship marketing activities including newsletter development, internal communications, and competitive analysis.
