Curinos hosts the industry’s leading benchmark for bank marketing spend and efficiency, powered by unparalleled data on marketing investment and product acquisition across both branch-based and direct banks. The benchmark provides rich insights into marketing performance drivers and opportunities for improvement. Production of the benchmark brings together multiple disciplines: data capture from participating banks, analytics model execution (including marketing mix modeling), anomaly troubleshooting, and the synthesis of industry and client-specific insights. Going forward, Curinos will expand and enhance the benchmark—integrating additional datasets such as Curinos’ primary bank Shopper Study—to create even deeper insights into marketing effectiveness. The Manager will play a central role in shaping this evolution and influencing the product roadmap. This is an ideal opportunity for a player-coach analytical manager who enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights. The role involves leading a team of junior analysts, overseeing the end-to-end production of the benchmark, and engaging directly with clients to deliver strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related field 
  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing analytics, consulting, or financial services 
  • 1–3 years of experience with marketing effectiveness, media investment, or ROMI analysis 
  • 1–3 years of people management experience 
  • Hands-on experience with SQL or relational databases (1–3 years) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in diagnosing data anomalies 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a focus on telling a data-driven story 
  • Self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment 
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings (typically a few days per month)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production and delivery of the Marketing Analyzer benchmark, including: 
  • Partnering with client banks to capture, validate, and troubleshoot marketing data 
  • Collaborating with internal teams and modeling partners to execute Curinos’ marketing mix model 
  • Translating complex data into clear, insight-driven findings for industry and client application 
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering analytical growth and professional development 
  • Present benchmark results and recommendationsto participating clients 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance benchmark content, methodologies, and production processes 
  • Contribute to the 2026 refresh of the benchmark and the integration of expanded Curinos data assets
