About The Position

The Marketing Analytics Lead for Amazon Music DISCO will spearhead analytics and insights efforts for the Engagement Marketing domain. This role involves developing the analytics roadmap, collaborating with marketing stakeholders, and delivering self-service solutions and insights to enhance marketing strategies. The position requires a strong understanding of the streaming music industry and the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies, all while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience in data analytics or related field.
  • 5+ years of SQL experience with advanced skills.
  • Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
  • Experience with the theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
  • Experience with AWS technologies and machine learning.
  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics and insights efforts for Amazon Music Engagement Marketing domain.
  • Act as the internal lead analytics consultant for marketing teams and collaborate on long-term strategy.
  • Define and deliver reporting and visualization that supports the analytical needs of internal business leaders.
  • Drive self-service solutions for senior business stakeholders informing marketing investment decisions.
  • Use analytical insights to help increase business and team effectiveness against key strategic goals.
  • Build a thorough understanding of the streaming music industry and key internal partners across Prime and Amazon devices.
  • Partner with analytics and science teams across Amazon entertainment and subscription businesses.
  • Educate and evangelize across internal teams on analytics, insights, and measurement by writing whitepapers and delivering learning sessions.
