About The Position

The Marketing Analytics Internship at Colony Brand's IMS subsidiary offers a hands-on opportunity for students to gain practical experience in data analysis, planning, budgeting, and forecasting within the Housefile Circulation & Budgeting department. Interns will assist in developing sales plans, reforecasting sales, and analyzing marketing results, providing valuable insights into the marketing process.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Economics.
  • At least Junior or Senior standing; recent graduates may be considered.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of semi-annual sales plans and associated marketing budgets for assigned titles.
  • Assist with reforecasting sales on a weekly basis for inventory planning purposes for assigned titles.
  • Assist with the presentation of semi-annual summaries of prior season results, including analysis of sales and profitability, explanation of variances versus budget, and analysis of test results for assigned titles.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to prioritize marketing database query requests and improve the content and integrity of the marketing database.
