About The Position

Commercial Credit Group Inc (CCG) is an independent national commercial equipment finance and leasing company focused on purchase money and refinance transactions in the construction, fleet transportation, waste/environmental and machine tool industries. CCG does equipment financing different than any other lender. We consider the character, collateral and cash flow of the borrower to make our credit decisions, often allowing us to lend money when a bank or captive lender won't. We realize there are ebbs and flows to the business and take the time to listen to the customers' stories. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, CCG has made NCs Mid-Market Fast 40 List for the 12 th time. CCG is seeking a Marketing Analyst. This individual will be responsible for providing data-driven insights into our customer information, industry and market data, and marketing program/campaign effectiveness. You will support the marketing and sales teams by analyzing customer and sales data to aid in customer segmentation, customer targeting, win/loss analysis, lead trafficking, market share analysis, and provide insights into and recommendations for marketing activity and content effectiveness. This position reports to the VP Marketing. This role is onsite and based out of our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of data analytics experience.
  • Proficient with statistical functions, software and databases ex. Power BI, Java Script, SQL Report Builder, pivot tables.
  • Experience with marketing tools Google Analytics, CRM, marketing automation tools.
  • Effective oral, written and presentation/communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as the position interacts with senior sales management and the marketing team.
  • Ability to think analytically, creatively, and strategically.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Statistics or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of HubSpot, Marketo or Salesforce.
  • B2B marketing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Measurement & Reporting Track and report on marketing performance across key channels (email, paid media, website, content).
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing program effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leadership and internal teams.
  • Analysis & Insights Develop customer insights based on interpretation of quantitative customer data, including industry information, geographic information, customer demographics, sales data, etc.
  • Provide written and oral presentations of findings, insights, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Perform market share analysis and competitor analysis.
  • Data Management & Tools Use APIs to integrate data sets between software programs.
  • Help the marketing team integrate AI tools into marketing and customer insights workflows.
  • Analyze and cleanse 3 rd -party prospect lists.
  • Maintain data accuracy across CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
  • Develop and maintain reporting of key metrics.
  • Strategic Support Assist with audience segmentation and targeting recommendations.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
