Supervisory Duties: None Summary: The Marketing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting data-driven marketing and sales strategy within our financial institution. This position is responsible for analyzing client behavior, campaign performance, and market trends to inform decision‑making and drive business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with an understanding of financial products, regulatory considerations, and client lifecycle dynamics within banking and financial services.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Salesforce MCI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of SAP based reporting tools.
  • Strong PC application skills with knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, web analytics, and attribution models.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Able to tie multiple data sets into meaningful action; creating ad hoc reports when necessary.
  • Flexible; able to handle change well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of customer lifecycle modeling, predictive analytics, or marketing mix modeling.
  • Ability to perform moderately complex assignments and handle diversified duties and coordination of related activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably within a bank, credit union, fintech, or broader financial services environment.
  • Experience with financial product marketing (e.g., deposits, lending, credit cards, investments).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and create dashboards that track campaign performance, lead generation, customer acquisition, and product adoption (e.g. Power BI, Salesforce MCI).
  • Analyze marketing funnel metrics and provide insights to optimize conversion and retention.
  • Conduct customer segmentation analysis to support targeting, personalization, and cross‑sell/upsell strategies.
  • Identify trends in customer behavior, market conditions, and competitive positioning within the financial services space.
  • Partner with marketing managers to design data‑driven campaigns and test frameworks (A/B and multivariate testing).
  • Measure and interpret campaign and channel results (email, direct mail, digital, etc.) to guide continuous optimization.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within marketing systems, CRM platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Work in alignment with Marketing Managers to ensure targeting practices adhere to financial industry regulations (e.g., UDAAP, Fair Lending, GLBA, TCPA).
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and secure handling of customer data.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, Digital Experience, and Technology teams to support institution‑wide initiatives.
  • Present findings to senior leaders through clear, compelling visualizations and storytelling.
  • Support strategic planning by providing data-driven insights into customer growth opportunities.
