About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing Marketing Analyst I to take ownership of our campaign data strategy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, mastering campaign tagging and tracking, and translating complex performance data for assigned business verticals into actionable insights. You will be empowered to fully lead projects within your expertise, driving continuous improvements in data quality, operational efficiency, and overall campaign outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8 years relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree +3 years relevant experience OR Master's Degree +1 years relevant experience
  • Data Fundamentals: Proven ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data with a strong understanding of database concepts, including normalization and data integrity.
  • Data Visualization & Communication: Hands-on experience creating data visualizations in tools like Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel and presenting data effectively through Google Slides/Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Media & Campaign Data Mastery: Extensive experience working with data from a diverse set of marketing channels, including: Social & Digital: Paid and organic social media platforms (Facebook/Snapchat/Twitter/Google Ads Managers, Sprout Social, etc.), and 3rd party ad serving systems (Nexxen, Basis, Google Campaign Manager) across digital ad types (display, video, rich media, search). Traditional & Web: Traditional advertising data (TV, radio, OOH, print) and web analytics (Google Analytics). Events: Data from on-the-ground event activations.
  • Project Execution: Demonstrated ability to build multiple, comprehensive reports for different campaigns simultaneously and work effectively within a cross-functional team.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Skills: Experience with programming languages (SQL, Python, R) for data manipulation, and/or experience with cloud services (Google Cloud or others) for data analysis and ETL processes.
  • Advanced Tools & Techniques: Experience creating data visualizations in BI tools (Tableau, etc.), and working with Digital Audience Measurement tools (Nielsen DAR, CommsPoint, etc.).
  • Analytical Rigor: Experience in analyzing the results of experimental test design, such as A/B split and multivariate testing.
  • Experience with public health efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of data for advertising efforts (digital, social and traditional media), websites, and events, as well as proper tracking of the data coming from these channels
  • Maintain data connections and dashboards, organize and synthesize data from multiple sources, and analyze channel performance against campaign objectives
  • Provide online/offline media insights and develop recommendations based on measurement reporting and quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Create and present clear, comprehensive cross-channel reports on marketing campaign performance using client-approved templates and professional reporting tools
  • Run ad-hoc analyses to identify trends and areas of opportunity, and recommend innovative options to optimize media strategies.
  • Maintain partner relationships and manage internal collaboration with key stakeholders to improve behavior change marketing campaign performance
  • Collaborate with cohorts on cross-departmental teams to build client reports and support the analytics needs of internal teams.
  • Manage campaign data within the departmental technology stack and adopt best practices across business verticals
  • Maintain functional expertise in analytical tools, techniques, and other infrastructure requirements used for integrated marketing campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date on new marketing metrics and measurement tools and technologies.
  • Manage assigned deliverables, timelines, and budgets
  • Develop individual goals that tie into departmental goals
  • Consistently share strong ideas, solid work products, and effective workstyles
