About The Position

The Marketing & Admissions Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the facility and regional healthcare partners, supporting census development and ensuring smooth transitions for patients entering skilled nursing care. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, RN case managers, and discharge planners throughout Central Washington. Responsibilities include regularly traveling to local and regional hospitals to maintain visibility, strengthen referral partnerships, and stay informed on patient needs and discharge planning opportunities. Through consistent outreach and relationship-building, the coordinator helps position the facility as a trusted post-acute care partner while identifying barriers to placement and working collaboratively with hospital teams to facilitate admissions. The coordinator supports the admissions process by communicating with referral sources, coordinating with internal clinical teams, and following up with newly admitted residents and families to ensure a smooth transition into the facility. This includes assisting with admissions documentation, ensuring required paperwork is completed, and checking in with residents to confirm their stay is comfortable and their needs are being met. In addition to referral development and admissions support, the role plays a key part in community engagement and facility branding. Responsibilities include managing the facility’s social media platforms, highlighting resident activities, staff recognition, and community involvement to promote transparency and strengthen the facility’s presence within the community. The Marketing & Admissions Coordinator also supports resident satisfaction and staff engagement initiatives, helping organize and promote facility events, celebrations, and recognition efforts that contribute to a positive environment for residents, families, and staff. The position maintains responsibility for a company credit card with a monthly marketing budget, tracking expenses and submitting receipts through Workday in accordance with company policy. Overall, the Marketing & Admissions Coordinator serves as the public face of the facility, fostering trusted relationships with healthcare partners, supporting admissions growth, strengthening community ties, and ensuring residents and families experience a welcoming and supportive transition into skilled nursing care.
