About The Position

The Marketing Administrator supports the execution of F&M Bank’s marketing, branding, and client-experience initiatives. This role works closely with the Senior Marketing Administrator to enhance the Bank’s visibility, strengthen community engagement, increase social media consistency, and elevate internal and external brand experiences through events, digital content, promotional management, and video production. This position assists in implementing marketing campaigns, maintaining brand standards across all touchpoints, and supporting internal and external communications that strengthen client relationships and community presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with event planning, marketing coordination, or project support preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms (Hootsuite preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Canva or other design tools.
  • Interest in videography and video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for community involvement.
  • Ability to represent the Bank professionally in public settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of self or others. Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety laws and all of the Bank’s safety policies and rules.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the Bank’s sole discretion. Must be regularly available and willing to work at such hours per day or week as the Bank determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays if the employer determines that it is necessary to do so in order to meet its business needs.
  • Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as the Bank determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
  • Be knowledgeable and comply with all regulations, policies and procedures relating to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, Privacy Act and how to recognize and report suspicious activity. Failure to comply with all components of these Acts could result in personal, civil money penalties and/or criminal prosecution.
  • Participate in civic activities to assist in growing the local community, while enhancing the visibility of the Bank.

  • Experience in financial services or community-based organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, filming, and editing video content for employee engagement initiatives, community partnerships, training, internal communications, and executive messaging.
  • Operate and help manage in-house video equipment.
  • Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar software) to produce polished video content (training/skill development provided as needed).
  • Plan, create, and schedule social media content using Hootsuite in alignment with the Bank’s marketing calendar and brand standards.
  • Write engaging captions and assist with graphic creation using Canva or similar design platforms.
  • Coordinate internal approval workflows and ensure consistent posting frequency.
  • Monitor content needs across departments and proactively gather material.
  • Track social media engagement metrics and provide input on content performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics for chamber, community, foundation, and signature Bank events (e.g., Cheerwine Festival, Cannon Ballers partnership events).
  • Manage invitations, registrations, attendee lists, and event supply preparation.
  • Attend events to support execution and capture photo/video content.
  • Assist with ticket distribution and client/employee engagement for sponsored events.
  • Support development and execution of the Bank’s Client Experience Program (e.g., Food Truck Fridays, in-office activations, promotional campaigns).
  • Maintain event calendars and assist with post-event follow-up and documentation.
  • Maintain and update in-office digital screens with current marketing content.
  • Manage on-hold messaging updates and coordinate timely content changes.
  • Oversee office music programming based on location needs and seasonal initiatives.
  • Ensure messaging reflects active campaigns and complies with brand standards.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Marketing department.
  • Research, recommend, and order branded promotional items that support marketing initiatives.
  • Support development, proofreading, and distribution of print and digital collateral.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
