About The Position

Cogent Analytics is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Marketing/Administrative Intern to join their team. This internship (20 hours per week) offers hands-on experience supporting both marketing initiatives and general administrative operations in a fast-paced business environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn while helping the team execute projects that drive engagement and efficiency.

Requirements

• Comfortable collaborating with a team and engaging with colleagues or clients
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
• Professional and polished communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure
• Coachable and open to feedback
• Ability to work 20 hours per week, starting early May 2026
• Flexible and adaptable to support various departments as needed
• Intermediate computer skills
• Authorized to work in the United States and located in Greensboro, NC

Nice To Haves

• Creative mindset; experience with Canva or other marketing tools is a plus
• Interest in marketing, hospitality, or related fields is preferred

Responsibilities

• Keep things running smoothly with admin support (emails, data entry, calls, coordination)
• Jump in on event prep, errands, and behind-the-scenes logistics
• Create eye-catching materials (flyers, signage, labels, etc.) using Canva
• Help manage and grow both our firm’s and client-facing brand/social media presence
• Respond to client, partner, and prospect messages and inquiries with professionalism and personality
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, client communications, and content planning
• Support special projects and ideas, we’re always building something new
