About The Position

The Marketing Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) at Sidley Austin LLP. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that require a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The assistant will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating meetings, managing communications, and handling various administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of the marketing department. In this role, the assistant will act as the first point of contact for the CMOs, which includes handling correspondence, screening calls, and managing communications with both internal and external stakeholders. The assistant will prepare and edit various documents, including presentations and reports, ensuring that all materials are accurate and professionally presented. Additionally, the assistant will organize logistics for departmental meetings, conferences, and special events, which involves venue selection, catering arrangements, and technical requirements. The position also requires maintaining a global marketing calendar and department documents, as well as processing invoices and expense reports. The assistant will need to interact with a diverse group of individuals, including important external callers and visitors, and must exercise good judgment, especially when dealing with confidential materials. Overall, this role is vital in supporting the CMOs and ensuring that the marketing department operates efficiently and effectively.
