About The Position

As a Market Strategy Associate, you will support the new business development team by assisting with research, data collection, and basic analysis of new business opportunities. Market Strategy Associate Responsibilities Include: Gather and organize information related to potential business opportunities within Suburban Automotive Services.Support the team in preparing analysis reports and presentations on market trends, competitors, and potential partners. Actively participate in team meetings to observe and learn about the evaluation of new business opportunities. Help coordinate the flow of information between departments (such as finance, legal, HR, and administration) to ensure timely and accurate data collection. Maintain and update databases or spreadsheets tracking business development activities. Provide administrative support for ongoing projects, including scheduling meetings and preparing meeting notes. Build on core discipline competencies through exposure to ongoing projects and processes as directed and guided by experienced team members, including through negotiations and project assessments. Assist with the preparation of materials needed for meetings with external partners or internal stakeholders. Receive training on business development analysis tools and methods. Gain exposure to cross-functional teamwork and project coordination. Develop foundational skills in research, communication, and business analysis. Participate in relevant industry groups and forums to gain exposure and experience within the relevant business areas and as a company representative. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Services’ DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Strong interest in business development and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.
