About The Position

The position supports the day-to-day operations of the market kitchen facility, focusing on product procurement, inventory management, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Requirements

• Food Service Sanitation Certified; ServSafe certification required.
• Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations, including inventory management and food preparation preferred.
• Prior experience in large, fast-paced food operations of at least 3 to 6 months desired.
• Basic computing skills preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and carry out verbal or written instructions.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Culinary classes or school experience is desired.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing kitchen facility inventory, including ordering, receipt, and proper storage of food products.
• Execute a regular cleaning schedule, maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards in the facility.
• Ensure regular maintenance and upkeep of kitchen equipment as directed by the Food Fanatic Chef.
• Assist in food preparation, recipe execution, plating, and presentations.
• Help plan, prepare, execute, and break down prospect and customer kitchen visits.
• Support the planning, preparation, execution, and break down of seller training events and sales meetings.
• Assist with shopping for additional ingredients needed for events.
