About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Market Sector Lead to be based in Sacramento, CA. Lead and manages large to very large size programs which have high levels of execution complexity and significant strategic value to the firm. Provide the organization with strong technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery globally. Advocate for ethical and safe working practices. Drive innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation. Work with Global Business Lines, Regional leadership, and Market Sector Leaders to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions to address them. Identify areas of high risk and pro-actively take action to positively impact program outcomes. Contribute to the global learning and people development strategy for program management, including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans. Assess long-term and disruptive trends in their area of expertise, proactively addressing emerging challenges and opportunities. Propose skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future. Actively leads and supports the attraction and retention of talent within program management. Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreement.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 12 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership

  • Growth experience including significant PMCM and Program Management Awards
  • Experience in business development across market sectors including: Healthcare, Education, Municipal and State Governments and others.
  • Experience leading capture on large opportunities and initiation of services
  • Sustaining services as a trusted client account lead.
