Gray Construction is seeking a Senior Schedule Manager to join our Team in the Data Center Market. This position will be based remotely and require travel. Experience in the Construction Industry is required. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling within the construction industry.
  • Experience managing scheduling staff on multiple projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scope of work.
  • Understanding of the design process relative to the project schedule.
  • Knowledge of project administration, including submittal process, change management, and change order processes.
  • Understanding of schedule logic, predecessors, successors, and float.
  • Knowledge of earned value management and ability to cost and manpower load schedules.
  • Proficiency in schedule software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive baseline schedule in collaboration with site team and trade partners.
  • Ability to prepare executive schedule update narratives and reports for market performance.
  • Ability to develop construction sequencing to help project team plan efficient workflows.
  • Ability to assess project schedules to identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the scheduling program within the Data Center market.
  • Ensure schedules are produced, maintained, updated, and issued regularly throughout the project duration.
  • Monitor trends and alert management of any possible positive or negative effects of those trends.
  • Assist with project strategy in relation to schedule during proposal development.
  • Lead by example and hold team members accountable for adhering to Gray's policies and procedures.
