Job Description: Leads Regional sales force ensuring sales goals are met or exceeded. Responsible for communicating sales goals, monitoring progress, and developing strategies to meet goals. Communicates sales/marketing policies, decisions, and updates to associates Creates and/or leads sales councils or forums to identify and share best practices. May assist with the selection and on-boarding of new sales talent and executives. May design and deliver segment specific reward programs in concert with the corporate Recognition and Reward team. May work with Finance or other business partners to validate that the appropriate sales metrics are being used and reporting capabilities are in place. Has previous sales experience and proven sales results evidenced by opening new markets or turning around existing markets. Has experience coaching sales teams and interacting with executives. Has the ability to communicate and influence verbally and in writing to multiple levels and audiences. Manage and execute end-to-end talent management process including market expansion, hiring, on-boarding, proficiency of sales management; perform performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching May assist with the selection and on-boarding of new sales talent and executives. May design and deliver segment specific reward programs in concert with the corporate Recognition and Reward team. May work with Finance or other business partners to validate that the appropriate sales metrics are being used and reporting capabilities are in place

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales and/or bank operations experience
  • Proven track record of coaching and improving performance in others
  • Proactively builds trusted relationships with key partners/clients
  • Can quickly learn business, priorities, challenges, and goals
  • Can attract, recruit and retain an effective sales and operations team
  • Demonstrated experience coaching sales teams and interacting with executives.
  • Ability to communicate and influence verbally and in writing to multiple levels and audiences
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize, and delegate tasks
  • Strong financial and business acumen including experience in leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills and professional programs (e.g. Microsoft Office)

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate college degree
  • Prior sales management experience
  • Prior experience managing a team across a large geography
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience
