About The Position

The Market Research Analyst is responsible for researching market segments, identifying target customers, and equipping the Commercial team with actionable insights that enhance their success in customer engagement and sales strategies. This role combines data-driven analysis with strategic thinking to inform positioning, go-to-market plans and pricing for various combinations of service and product solutions for Better Storage Management. The analyst works closely with the Chief Client Solution Officer and collaborates with Sales and Marketing to ensure research findings translate into effective commercial execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in market research, sales, business analysis, or strategy roles.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or technology sectors strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies (surveys, focus groups, competitive analysis).
  • Strong data analysis skills; experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Research market segments and identify target customers, providing detailed profiles and segmentation analysis to guide commercial strategy.
  • Map customer value chains and identify key decision-makers and influencers; develop buyer personas and analyze purchasing behaviors to inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Prepare the Commercial team with data-driven insights and tools that enhance their effectiveness in customer engagement and sales approaches.
  • Design and implement comprehensive market research studies, leveraging qualitative and quantitative methodologies to generate actionable insights.
  • Conduct secondary research, Voice of Customer (VOC) studies, and internal stakeholder interviews; synthesize findings into clear reports with strategic recommendations.
  • Plan and execute concept testing for new sample management products and service solution models; work closely with the Chief Client Solution Officer and Commercial Leadership to refine models, pricing, positioning, and value propositions based on customer feedback.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and customer alternatives; articulate differentiation strategies that position the company as the preferred solution provider.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry thought leaders and early adopters; facilitate introductions to sales teams to accelerate pipeline development.
  • Serve as an advocate for new offerings; ensure consistent communication and alignment across all stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to develop campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and demand for new service solutions.
  • Support the Chief Client Solution Officer and Commercial Leadership in translating research insights into operational plans for successful service launch and adoption.
