About The Position
The Breakthrough Research & Economics Team at U.S. Venture is dedicated to transforming industry information into actionable insights for both our internal team and clients. As a Market Research Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in bringing transportation energy and freight market information to life for current and prospective clients. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the transportation energy and freight markets in North America, while also allowing you to contribute to a special research project that will drive value for the company. This project will either explore new areas or reinforce Breakthrough's existing offerings. You will be mentored by a member of the Research & Economics team, who will guide you through the project, culminating in a presentation of your findings to both the Research & Economics Team and Senior Leadership teams. In addition to your project work, you will have the opportunity to expand your market expertise by supporting client requests for market data and insights. You will monitor the dynamics and current activities within the U.S. and Canada transportation fuel and freight markets, and learn to execute core functions that support the business. Furthermore, you will contribute to the Mercury Group, our annual client conference, by engaging in small research projects that support the team's preparations for the event. This internship will not only enhance your research and analytical skills but also provide you with valuable exposure to various business units within Breakthrough, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.
