The Sam's Club People Team is expanding and is in search of a collaborative Market People Partner who possesses a strong background in leading Human Resources initiatives for a diverse employee population across various geographical locations. This role is pivotal in driving people transformation, organizational planning, and fostering trust and strong relationships with associates and the business. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a proven ability to influence others and leverage data to inform decision-making. In this position, you will have a significant impact by driving associate engagement through the analysis of survey data and employment trends. You will solicit feedback from associates and utilize various data sources to identify solutions and develop action plans. Supporting the company's Open Door Policy, you will research issues, review company policies and procedures for consistency, initiate investigations, and provide resolutions to associates. You will execute HR business plans at the market level by assisting in their development, gathering internal and external perspectives, and acting as a resource for implementation. Monitoring facility performance against these plans will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will proactively resolve labor concerns by educating market and club associates, answering questions, and advising club managers on appropriate responses. Building relationships with management associates will be crucial, as you will tour stores, discuss skill development opportunities, and assist associates in creating pathways for career advancement. You will manage the recruiting process for potential management associates by developing relationships with professional organizations and universities, identifying key talent within the community, and promoting the benefits of working for Sam's Club. Your role will also involve advising and guiding operations peers, driving club-level talent management, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies, and overseeing the consistent implementation of HR practices across multiple facilities. You will model compliance with company policies and support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity in all business processes.
