About The Position

We’re looking for a Market Operations Manager to oversee our engagement teams and ensure the day-to-day operations of the market run smoothly. This role is hands-on and execution-focused: you’ll coordinate patient onboarding, manage workflows, and keep daily operations on track so our clinical and care teams can do their best work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing frontline staff, and eager to jump in wherever needed to keep operations moving.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in healthcare operations, patient engagement, or team coordination.
  • Prior experience supervising or supporting frontline staff strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with patient onboarding, scheduling, or care coordination workflows.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment where processes are evolving.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support engagement team members who handle patient outreach, scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to help the team meet goals for responsiveness and service quality.
  • Support the interview and onboarding process for engagement team members as the company grows.
  • Participate in the design and deployment of member engagement campaigns, and ensure execution, monitoring and measurement of campaign effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Ensure patients are successfully onboarded into Karoo programs, including initial outreach, scheduling, and hand-offs to the care team.
  • Track onboarding progress and follow up on incomplete steps to avoid gaps in care.
  • Manage scheduling, task lists, and operational workflows to keep the market running efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve day-to-day issues quickly, escalating when needed.
  • Monitor team activity, including outreach volumes, scheduling turnaround, and patient onboarding success.
  • Share updates with leadership and suggest process improvements when gaps are identified.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately and care plans are followed.
  • Partner with central operations to make sure engagement workflows and tools are being used effectively.
  • Partner with external vendors providing tools and support for patient engagement functionality.
  • Directly support achievement of partnership goals by working and collaborating with relevant partner teams.
