About The Position
The West Linn Market of Choice is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Clerks to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers while ensuring that our Produce Department maintains the highest quality standards for both conventional and organic produce. As a Produce Clerk, you will play a vital role in creating a pleasant in-store atmosphere, assisting customers with their selections, and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our delicious products. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $16.25 to $19.25 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth up to $19.85 per hour. Your daily responsibilities will include following safety procedures and maintaining sanitation standards, cleaning, trimming, and packaging produce, as well as cleaning shelves and stocking products in coolers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate pricing and signage, ensuring that our customers have the best shopping experience possible. Additionally, you may be involved in the training and development of new personnel as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
