About The Position

The role of the Brand Account Manager is to develop relationships with key on-premise (60% of time) and off-premise (40% of time) customers to: o Drive distribution o Improve visibility o Activate Brand in top image and volume accounts o Raise the profile of the brand within the trade and consumer community o Generate incremental sales volume

Requirements

  • Sales and/or merchandising experience in the beverage industry
  • Professional, responsible and able to work independently
  • Customer driven and consumer focused
  • Able to translate strategy into action and make things happen
  • Proactive and solutions oriented
  • Ability to sell, influence and partner with customers and co-workers
  • Passionate about the beverage alcohol industry
  • Articulate, charismatic, engaging and pleasant
  • This role requires evening and weekend coverage on occasion – it is a full-time role with non-standard hours
  • Demonstrated public-speaking, presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and provide timely, concise reporting
  • BA preferred
  • Clean driving record and good credit history

Responsibilities

  • Achieve Brand performance standards in his/her universe of accounts
  • Support marketing strategy, brand standards and brand programs in his/her universe of accounts
  • Execute wholesaler and bartender education & outreach programs
  • Establish/maintain relationships with bartenders, account managers, and account owners at assigned accounts to facilitate new points of distribution and depletion growth
  • Become the local “face of” Brand
  • Identify/help fill distribution gaps
  • Encourage/facilitate on-going endorsement of Brand products to their customers through education and menu placements/drink features
  • Place and refresh Brand Point-of-Sale materials in assigned accounts
  • Increase consumer call by promoting and enhancing national/local programs
  • Act as local host of customized on and off-premise promotions for Brand
  • Participate in PR/media outreach efforts
  • Provide feedback concerning competitive activities and market trends
  • Provide input regarding future marketing plan development
