The role also involves partnering with vendors to ensure product availability and timely execution of monthly promotions while ensuring vendor performance is professional. Ensuring store operations are profitable by managing cash and merchandise variation, salaries, and other controllable expense lines on the P&L is crucial. Compliance with policies, procedures, and government regulations is enforced, along with maintaining a safe and secure working environment. The position requires achieving financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variances. Leadership and direction are provided to store managers, including assistance in recruiting, selection, and orientation processes, as well as employee development and training programs. The role adheres to the Company Operating Policy of Legal, Ethical, and Moral practices and enhances professional knowledge through educational workshops and networking.
