Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in the beverage alcohol and/or beverage industry with a proven track record of meeting key metrics and a strong, consistent presence in the market with key accounts and customers.
  • Strong coaching and sales training skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, while actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with leaders across various channels, functions, and geographies.
  • Able to prioritize the overall Brown-Forman business needs above specific territory or team needs.
  • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as required, with a valid state driver's license and the capability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Systems Proficiency i.e. Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and/or other business operations software.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with key on and off premise account groups for San Francisco and the South Bay area, covering the entire Brown-Forman portfolio of brands.
  • Design, develop, and implement key customer focused win-win initiatives that enhance Brown-Forman and customer profitability.
  • Establish and nurture positive customer rapport at all levels across assigned territory.
  • Conduct business performance reviews with the distributor leadership to achieve state plans.
  • Partner with Brown-Forman National Account Teams and Regional Distributor Account Team to ensure flawless execution of Independent and Chain programs.
  • Work with the Brown-Forman e-premise team to communicate cutting-edge programs and execution plans to distributors and customers.
  • Develop and execute on and off premise brand-building plans in collaboration with distributors in San Francisco and South Bay area.
  • Champion the on and off premise effort at the point of purchase, ensuring superior distributor execution of brand initiatives.
  • Engage with and influence key external contacts, including distributor partners, retailers, consumers, and agencies.
  • Lead on and off premise teams to gather local market feedback for specific brand plans, setting clear objectives and priorities.
  • Coordinate communication of plan adjustments based on market performance and success.
  • Manage budget responsibilities to drive financial success.
  • Develops and/or ensures proper activation of all programs for the Reyes Beverage Group team members through weekly field work with and meetings for on and off premise general market.
  • Ensure Alignment with Golden Brands San Francisco, Golden Brands San Jose & Golden Brands Monterey Business Units.
  • Develop and ensure the proper activation of all on and off premise programs.
  • Oversee the execution of on and off premise pull programming and all branded initiatives.
  • Execute the Brown-Forman business plan with the on and off premise team, holding them accountable for results.
  • Oversee third-party promotion agencies for on and off premise, ensuring alignment with Brown-Forman business and brand plans.
