About The Position

The Franke Foodservice Systems division is a world-leading supplier of kitchen facilities, equipment and supplies solutions. As a full system manufacturer, distributor and program management partner, we supply global chains in the quick-service restaurant, convenience store and supermarket segments, helping to manage unit growth and upgrade their facilities. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide complete customer support within assigned regions related to equipment requirements, remodel requirements, and project management, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Intermediate skills in reading and interpreting documents, writing reports, and speaking effectively.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills for calculating figures and amounts.
  • High reasoning ability to solve practical problems.
  • General knowledge of various software including word processing, spreadsheets, design software, and project management software.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of five years prior related work experience calling on or working with global QSR customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information resource conduit regarding project or roll-out development to all areas of direct customer base (Regional, Corporate, and Owner/Operator).
  • Maintain constant awareness of new foodservice equipment developments.
  • Maintain dialogue with direct customer base regarding new equipment releases and equipment obsolescence.
  • Review monthly forecasting and project management planning to help achieve company sales targets.
  • Assist in coordination of communication between various departments.
  • Extensive travel within the Market Manager’s territory (>40%).
  • Maintain and build business growth with current account base.
  • Understand and effectively communicate company value proposition to clients.
  • Work effectively with Technical Service / Engineering team to deliver maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at key industry events and build a network.
  • Comply with customer corporate standards and balance the needs of the Operator.
  • Manage projects to ensure accuracy and adherence to committed timelines.
  • Resolve on-site customer product and service issues.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to move deals forward.
  • Reliable attendance is a must.
  • Other duties as assigned.
