About The Position

Winpak is seeking a Market Manager – Food & Beverage to join the strategy and growth team within the Marketing department just outside Chicago in Sauk Village, IL. In this role, you will report to Winpak’s Strategy and Growth Leader and will lead marketing efforts across the entire product portfolio including Thermoforming Rigid Plastics, Flexo/Roto/Digital printing of Flexibles Pouches & Lidding, Sheet and Film Production, and Filling Machine Manufacturing & Servicing. This position is focused on the NA Food and Beverage market segment, developing and executing strategies that drive profitable growth, expand market share, and strengthen Winpak’s value proposition, brand experience, and client journey. You will collaborate closely with Marketing Activation, Sales, Technical Product Management, Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, and other cross-functional partners to bring innovative packaging solutions to market and support customer success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in market management, product management, or strategic marketing within B2B, packaging, or CPG environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading market or portfolio strategy with measurable revenue and margin impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to balance long-term strategic vision with disciplined execution.
  • Advanced analytical, financial, and business judgment skills.
  • Proficiency with standard business software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Monday.com, SmartSheet, Vidyard, HubSpot, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the Food & Beverage market strategy, aligning portfolio priorities with enterprise growth, profitability, and sustainability objectives.
  • Drive executive-level decision-making related to pricing, portfolio optimization, and market investments through rigorous financial and market analysis.
  • Partner with Technical Product Management to set commercialization priorities and oversee successful execution from concept through scale.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to Sales leadership, supporting strategic client engagements, complex negotiations, and high-impact growth opportunities.
  • Identify and evaluate inorganic and organic growth opportunities, including cross-business unit collaboration, supplier partnerships, and total packaging solutions.
  • Provide ongoing assessment of market dynamics, competitive positioning, and emerging trends to proactively adjust strategy.
  • Strengthen demand generation by influencing pipeline health, prioritizing growth initiatives, and aligning resources to market opportunity.
  • Leverage Marketing Technology (MarTech) and AI to enhance marketing effectiveness, demand generation, and pipeline performance.
  • Partner with Sales to enable commercial execution, support key client engagements, and identify unmet market opportunities.
  • Build strategic relationships with clients and industry partners to inform innovation and portfolio direction.
  • Represent Winpak’s Food & Beverage market leadership internally and externally through executive client meetings, innovation forums, and industry engagement.
