About The Position

At Glanbia’s Marketing & Insights Center of Excellence, the Market Intelligence Manager plays a key role in surfacing and synthesizing external intelligence to support business growth. From managing vendor relationships and industry resources to producing actionable insights and insightful communications, this role serves as a connective tissue between the outside world and internal intelligence. You are a natural curator of information, a strategic communicator, and a proactive collaborator who thrives on translating trends, data, and research into B2B insights that matter. You will work cross-functionally across Marketing, Product Management, and Commercial teams and will own the execution of key intelligence assets such as internal newsletters and thought leadership support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Market Research, Communication or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in category management, market research, insights, or related roles
  • Strong working knowledge of secondary data platforms such as Mintel, Innova, Euromonitor, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Manage secondary supplier partnerships (e.g., Mintel, Innova, GlobalData), including tracking usage, organizing vendor updates, managing contract administration, and facilitating onboarding or training for internal teams
  • Lead development of Glanbia’s internal market intelligence newsletter, distilling industry trends, consumer behavior insights, product innovation, and competitive movement into a monthly, high-value digest for key stakeholders
  • Serve as gatekeeper and coordinator for inbound insights requests, assessing needs and identifying the best resources to deliver relevant, timely responses
  • Conduct competitive market assessments, distilling not only what competitors are doing, but where early signals of traction and momentum are emerging across regions
  • Conduct desk research and leverage primary and syndicated/secondary sources to build reports on market sizing, category performance, and consumer trends
  • Support blog content development for external-facing thought leadership by curating data and insights aligned to strategic themes and planned content calendar
  • Build and maintain a library of evergreen insights content (e.g., category decks, trend reports, and the Insights Reference Library)
  • Serve as an internal expert on syndicated research platforms and industry tools, supporting the team in accessing and interpreting information
