The Market Grille Cook provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while preparing various foods for the Market Grille, responsible for all hot and cold foods including available heat-and-eat varieties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction and record figures.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
• Greets customers in a friendly manner and makes an effort to learn customers' names.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, and loading or unloading heavy items.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
• Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepares cooking surfaces and various menu items including vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast foods.
• Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, and refills as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
