The Market Grille Clerk provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, reviews and fills customer orders for the day, handles food in a safe manner, and ensures the work area is always clean and neat.

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
Greets customers in a friendly manner and makes an effort to learn customers' names.
Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, and loading/unloading heavy items.
Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service to customers who call.
Takes customer orders at the Market Grille counter.
Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Handles food safely and ensures cleanliness of the work area.
Reviews the status and appearance of food for freshness.
Prepares and replenishes product as necessary.
Runs the department registers and receives payment.
Removes trash in a timely manner.
Maintains adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.

No education requirement.
Six months or less of similar or related work experience.
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction.
Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
