AZ Mkt Director Pre-Hospital Services
About The Position
The Market Director, Pre-Hospital Services, is responsible for overseeing and advancing relationships with pre-hospital entities, to include Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Fire Departments, and other first responder agencies within the Arizona Market. This role works collaboratively with the Strategy/Business Development Department, Transfer Center, and leaders across the Arizona Market to promote standardization of best practices, streamline communication, provide subject matter expertise, and base station oversight for EMS agencies who base with Dignity Health Arizona. This role will also oversee collaborations between CommonSpirit Health and transportation entities in the AZ Market, to include contract compliance, utilization data, and associated KPIs to include decreased length of stay at the facility level.
Requirements
- 4-6 years Pre-Hospital Leadership or Coordination to include experience with base station management
- Registered Nurse: AZ

Responsibilities
- Oversee and advance relationships with Pre-Hospital Entities across the AZ Market.
- Monitor and take action on data related to EMS traffic to all AZ Market facilities.
- Provide leadership and oversight for base station agreements between EMS Agencies and Dignity Health across the AZ Market.
- Work with Pre-Hospital entities to provide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for Continuing Education.
- Provide feedback/SME to EMS agencies as needed and upon request.
- Lead alignment work across the AZ Market in relation to Pre-Hospital services, to include base station agreements, EMS processes for pharmacy restock, data sharing, EMS protocols, and communication systems/processes.
- Address facility specific barriers.
- Work with Cardiac and Stroke teams to facilitate streamlined transport processes from outlying facilities.
- Develop, grow, and maintain transportation processes for patient movement within the AZ Market facilities.
