About The Position

Responsible for Technical Product Marketing for ST"s Power Transistor and Discrete product families, utilizing extensive knowledge of the automotive electronics market, key customer applications, and the relevant product portfolios. Work in close cooperation with ST"s sales organization, customers, and ST"s Product Divisions in order to achieve sales, profitability, and new business generation targets. Lead product promotion activities to ST"s automotive customer base, identifying new customer development programs, proposing ST products matching specific customer requirements, and driving those new opportunities to a successful closure. Provide essential market knowledge to ST"s Product Divisions including available market size, competition positioning and analysis, and key customer activities. Propose new products to be developed in order to expand ST"s market penetration. Provide product specific training and support tools to the ST sales force. Utilize automotive electronics systems and electrical architectures, with emphasis on electric vehicle subsystems such as traction inverters, on-board chargers, and DC-DC converter systems. Utilize knowledge of applicable power semiconductor technologies, including Silicon, Silicon Carbide, and Gallium Nitride MOSFET products and technologies, as well as related Power Module packaging technologies. 20% domestic and international travel required.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master"s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science
  • three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation utilizing automotive electronics systems and electrical architectures, with emphasis on electric vehicle subsystems such as traction inverters, on-board chargers, and DC-DC converter systems
  • utilizing knowledge of applicable power semiconductor technologies, including Silicon, Silicon Carbide, and Gallium Nitride MOSFET products and technologies, as well as related Power Module packaging technologies.
  • 20% domestic and international travel required.
