Our business is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Market Development Representative to support inbound qualification and demand generation. This is a full-time entry level position, and while experience in the field of enterprise software business development or sales is an advantage, it is not a requirement. Your mission will be to act as the first point of contact for prospective clients that reach out to RELEX, as well as working with our Marketing and Business Development teams to drive demand generation across the US. This typically includes event warming (i.e. inviting prospects to virtual and physical events) and event follow-up. As the first point of contact, you’ll speak with Retailers and Manufacturers of all sizes and specialisms, qualifying whether we’re the right solution for their specific needs. We consider this a critical role within RELEX, as you will set the first impression and, as such, we will provide you comprehensive training and support. You’ll work closely with an internationally distributed team of Market Development Reps, who work as part of the larger Business Development function, meaning that you will not only be supported by your team lead, but also by a wide network of colleagues. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the commercial aspects of supply chain software and grow their skills in a supportive and innovative environment. You will report to the Market Development Team Lead, but will be matrixed into the Head of Americas BD, and will work alongside other sales professionals within RELEX. Join us as a Market Development Representative, and here’s what you can expect: Collaborate with our Marketing team to generate demand for trade shows, webinars, and other marketing events. Engage with our prospects and customers via email and phone to generate this demand in alignment with the Business Development team. Represent the first point of contact for all inbound leads, qualifying them and setting them up with our Account Executives. Assist the Business Development team in researching new avenues into accounts, identifying potential new contacts, sourcing industry news triggers, and uncovering areas of opportunity through comprehensive analysis of companies' annual and financial reports. Contribute to preparation activities for prospect-facing meetings, which could include prospect and industry research, product research, and presentation configuration.
