About The Position

This role builds brands by utilizing consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve problems, and maximize sales. This MDR will manage accounts across Illinois through telephone sales. The MDR will lead selling, merchandising, marketing, and execution for accounts. MDR will work with their distributors to achieve effective inventory and order management at accounts. MDR is responsible for achieving growth targets, growing market share, and space-to-sales targets for Sazerac brands. Use the FYI skill assessment process to develop and improve on core competencies to the MDR role. Ensure that I have a prioritized PDS plan, along with tangible action plans and am making progress against these action steps. Push self and others to drive for results. Achieve volume objectives for the Brand Country State Priorities and assigned brands to the territory. Use KPI's to ensure that execution standards are achieved. Monitor results through the use of KPI tracking and company systems. Plan and implement programs that deliver distribution objectives, merchandising objectives, display objectives, and retail promotional objectives. Develop mutually valuable relationships with assigned customers, through the thorough understanding of key customers needs and requirements. Ensures the correct products and standards are delivered to customers in a timely manner and serves as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams. Ensures retail prices are consistent with state brand guidance. Drives results on space to sales and merchandising initiatives in all accounts. Follow the development plan established for career development and/or advancement. Utilize the CMS system to input key contacts within territory. Maintain contacts with all relevant and updated information. Establish key initiatives and territory project work within the PPT system. Manage and Measure KPI activity within PPT system. Maintain PPT system with all relevant projects.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends).
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum relevant experience.
