Position Summary: Serve as a segment expert and strategic liaison between the brand and customer teams. This role drives growth by interpreting actionable insights, developing category strategies, and ensuring alignment with Newell's financial and Brand Strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years in category management, brand strategy, or customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the unified voice of the segment/brand to customer teams and vice versa.
  • Develop and execute Annual Category Management Plans and selling stories.
  • Create and implement channel- and customer-specific strategies.
  • Lead go-to-market initiatives including pricing, new product launches, and promotions.
  • Partner with Finance for investment decisions and Sales Strategies.
  • Translate brand innovation into customer growth strategies.
  • Oversee Commercialization Plans and implementation
  • Lead Supply Chain forecasting and optimization for assigned categories.
  • Analyze market and category data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent top retailer dynamics and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Category Development to craft compelling national selling stories.
