About The Position

The Manager of Sales Operations – Communications is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing all communication channels between Sales Operations, MD&P, sales teams, and cross-functional business segments within Newell. This role ensures that critical commercial updates, priorities, tools, and insights are delivered with clarity, consistency, and the appropriate cadence to drive execution excellence and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in sales, sales operations, market planning, brand management, or related roles.
  • Proven ability to partner with multiple teams in a matrixed organization to achieve results.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence different key players within an organization.
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a CPG or durable company is a plus.
  • US retail customer knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Sales Operations communication strategy.
  • Establish communication governance including content standards, workflows, and distribution protocols.
  • Partner with MD&P, Sales Leadership, Brand, Category Management, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Segment leads.
  • Define and manage communication cadence.
  • Implement standardized templates and delivery mechanisms.
  • Track communication engagement and optimize cadence.
  • Translate complex business insights into actionable communication for sales.
  • Develop communication packages to seasonal programs, innovation, and retailer reviews.
  • Ensure communications reinforce capability-building and tool adoption.
  • Serve as liaison between Sales Ops and Business Units.
  • Support Business Segment leaders in crafting field-facing updates.
  • Ensure communications support enterprise objectives.
