About The Position

We are looking for a Market Coordinator to join our Principal Asset Management sales team. In this role, you’ll execute concierge-level service models for in-person and virtual events to elevate the client experience and ensure seamless event planning and targeted coordination. You’ll use your professional writing skills to create impactful internal and client-facing communications. Serving as a liaison between departments, you will foster collaboration to share and scale best practices within a dynamic team environment. Coordinate the planning and execution of both in-person and virtual events to drive sales team success. Optimize existing client engagements, identify new opportunities, and coordinate with external vendors and internal partners for seamless implementation. Craft compelling sales emails, personalized event invitations, follow-up messages, and other client communications with a professional and timely approach in collaboration with supervisors and colleagues while ensuring compliance with FINRA regulations. Collaborate within the sales team to drive success as a cohesive unit. Work collectively to identify target demographics and devise effective engagement strategies. Utilize data-driven analysis, insights from internal and external sales channels, and feedback from client group liaisons to refine audience sourcing tactics. Partner with colleagues, product managers, specialists, and experts to strategize speaking engagements and curate communication content. Act as a liaison between Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Global Brand Experience, and Compliance, ensuring the quality of written communications and events while aligning efforts with firm-level expectations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and two years’ experience in financial services, marketing, communication, or related field.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability in event planning and execution, adept at bridging sales and marketing functions to drive cohesive strategies.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, project management, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with limited direct supervision.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
  • Fingerprint – You’ll be required to become a non-registered fingerprint person of Principal Funds Distributor

Nice To Haves

  • Proven skills in composing sales emails, customized event invitations, follow-up messages, and other client communications with integrity, precision, and urgency. Collaboration with supervisors and colleagues is essential, along with strict adherence to FINRA regulations
  • SIE, Series 7 & Series 66 or equivalent are preferred upfront and may be required within 1 year of hire date.
  • Knowledge of the financial services market, products, and basic investment concepts.
