About The Position

The Market Clean-Up Clerk is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through effective cleaning and maintenance of the market area, particularly in the meat department. This part-time role involves engaging with guests, maintaining product integrity, and adhering to management guidelines for cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, squatting, climbing, and walking.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs. to a height of 4 feet regularly.
• Ability to read, write, and complete company forms for sales reporting.
• Ability to work for periods of up to 8-10 hours in 50-degree temperatures.
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching regarding performance and work habits.
• Ability to function as a team member and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests upon entering the market area.
• Clean and sanitize the market area to ensure product integrity and guest safety.
• Stock and rotate products as needed.
• Wrap products efficiently and consistently.
• Label products accurately, ensuring correct pricing and weight.
• Maintain freshness and safety of products for guests.
• Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management.
• Adhere to management guidelines for maintaining the fresh meat counter.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.
