Job Summary: The Market Capture Manager supports strategic growth by driving enrollment expansion through leading client and partner engagements, managing relationships, and ensuring high-quality customer success. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Market Capture, this role serves as a product expert, coordinates cross-functional project activities, and delivers clear, timely updates while mitigating risk and maintaining key documentation. The position advances organizational growth by supporting enrollment initiatives through outreach events, financial and market analysis, public demonstrations, and identifying new and expanded opportunities with both current and prospective partners. Additionally, the Market Capture Manager provides mentorship to internal teams, supports hiring decisions, and collaborates closely with Operations, Product, and Enrollment to align strategy with execution. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, and a deep understanding of Medicaid, long-term care, PDS/SDP models, or California regional centers.

  • Bachelor's degree or 9 years’ experience required
  • This is a remote role with moderate travel and is territory-based, with two (2) open positions: Region 3: Central California Region 4: Northern California.
  • Travel is expected within the assigned region.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Substantial professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Demonstrated financial technology experience preferred
  • Finance and accounting systems experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid programs and state government is a plus
  • Experience in long term care and disability services; specifically, PDS and SDP strongly preferred
  • experience with regional centers in CA is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates proposal development research, financial analysis, writing, and production.
  • Identifies and act on opportunities for upselling to current clients.
  • Identifies and meets with prospective clients.
  • Records business development activities.
  • Leads sales presentations and system demonstrations.
  • Serve as primary and back-up contact for client engagements.
  • Maintain client relationships.
  • Participate in key stakeholder meetings.
  • Present written/verbal status reports to clients.
  • Reinforce and set client expectations regarding PPL’s product application model during implementations.
  • Function as subject matter expert on PPL’s products.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to other projects or practice areas.
  • Coordinates project requirements and client expectations among functional groups and with client.
  • Creates and manages internal project work plans.
  • Ensure the quality of work produced meets PPL and contractual standards.
  • Develops recommended solutions to mitigate or avoid risks.
  • Reviews and updates critical client documents on a regular basis.
  • Provides mentorship and training as needed.
  • Develops next set of client partnership leaders.
  • Support hiring team with interview and hiring decisions.
