About The Position

The Market Assistant Director of Information Services will provide technology, vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the affiliate-wide Information Services (I.S.) program at multiple facilities across the region. The Assistant Director will assist the Director in leading the health care network in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial regional-wide I.S. operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Master's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.
  • Eight (8) to Ten (10) years of experience in Healthcare Information Systems, Information Technology and direct management of a major I.S. operation is preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years leadership experience in related field required, acute care experience preferred.
  • Exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a multi-site client-server environment is required.
  • Specific experience with Practice Management, Financial Management and Clinical Management Information Systems is a plus.
  • Multi-site experience required.
