About The Position

I. Job Summary Under moderate supervision and working closely with the Specialist, Area Safety, assists with implementing and coordinating business unit safety programs required for compliance with OSHA regulatory requirements and company safety policies. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the development of district-specific plans with the district manager. Assists with administering rules and conducting site assessments to monitor safety compliance. Assists Senior Market Area Safety Specialist in training and mentoring field operational management within assigned business unit regarding the safety process. Assists in providing oversight for all operational safety training within business units. Assists in analyzing risk trends and managing risk associated with safety compliance. Assists with identifying, counseling, and coaching employees who routinely work in environments with high risk to safety. Serves as a team member for Safety Operational Assessment Review (SOAR). III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (accredited) B.
