Set up equipment in preparation for startup, responsible for making precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield., while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Average training time may require 2-3 months. Must also adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Must be willing and able to: Occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50lbs. Willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds. Work on and around machinery and chemicals. Clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas. Perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
