About The Position

CORE POWER is looking for a regulatory analyst intern to join our team in our Washington DC office. You will be working as part of our regulatory team who are pushing forward the development of appropriate international and domestic regulations for nuclear ships and floating power plants. This internship is ideal for someone looking to kickstart a career in maritime policy who wants to work at the cutting edge of technology. This role is open to students studying a wide range of subjects who have an interest in how maritime policy and regulation develops.

Requirements

  • Currently undertaking a degree in a broad range of subject related to maritime regulations. This includes marine engineering and transport, political science or international relations or similar.
  • Interest in a career related to maritime policy.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • A quick learner who can take rapidly take on new skills.
  • A self-starter with a can do attitude
  • Right to work in the United States permanently
