About The Position

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Fort Bliss, TX. The Maritime Domain Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for the integration of full spectrum naval capabilities into multi-domain scenarios/mission threads that support the U.S. Army Joint Modernization Commands worldwide, multi-echelon, joint and multi-national future force live, virtual, and constructive simulation experiments. This includes tasks such as experiment/exercise concept development, planning, scenario/mission thread development, event response and control cells, assessment, and supporting the development of the future-force maritime domain within a joint experiment/exercise environment. The expert will ensure that experiment/exercise maritime objectives are supported by scenario/mission thread elements, storylines, and MSEL implementers, and will provide maritime expertise and support on applicable tactical and operational-level joint, multi-national and service doctrine associated with experiment/exercise planning/execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of USN fleet operations experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experiment/exercise scenario/mission thread development and MSEL writing experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of naval operational experience related to MSELs and scenarios/mission threads.
  • Minimum 5 years of performance-based Operational-level experiment/exercise experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree.
  • Former Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC) N8 Fleet Experimentation (FLEX) staff officer.
  • Recent experience in theater-based joint and naval future force experiments/exercises.
  • Former Theater Maritime Operations Center (MOC) staff officer.
  • Former USN Surface Warfare Officer (SWO).

Responsibilities

  • Integrate full spectrum naval capabilities into multi-domain scenarios/mission threads.
  • Develop experiment/exercise concepts and plans.
  • Create scenario/mission threads and manage event response and control cells.
  • Ensure maritime objectives are supported by scenario elements and storylines.
  • Link scenario elements to appropriate simulation activities and databases.
  • Provide maritime expertise on joint, multi-national, and service doctrine.
  • Participate in the development of After Action Reports based on observations during exercises.
