We’re looking for a Marine Technician / Outboard Mechanic to join our team and help us level up. If you take pride in your craft, want access to multi-line certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda), and are ready to build something bigger—this is the right shop for you. What You’ll Be Doing Diagnose. Repair. Rig. Deliver. Repeat. Your work keeps our customers on the water and our shop running at a high level.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of marine tech experience (dealership preferred)
  • Manufacturer certifications preferred (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser)
  • MMI graduate a plus
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Confident working with mechanical, electrical, and rigging systems
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to hustle
  • Must be able to work Saturdays (closed Sunday, 1 weekday off)
  • Team player with a positive attitude—we care about culture

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturer certifications preferred (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser)
  • MMI graduate a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on marine outboards and inboards
  • Rig new and pre-owned units for customer delivery
  • Install OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories
  • Perform safety inspections and recommend services
  • Conduct water/lake testing when necessary
  • Minimize comebacks by delivering clean, accurate work the first time
  • Identify upsell opportunities and generate additional revenue through quality service
