About The Position
Hartman Yacht Maintenance is a well-established, employee-owned mobile marine maintenance company with over 30 years of experience. We are currently expanding our team and are looking for Marine Field Technicians to join our Palm Beach division. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing various marine vessels, ensuring they operate at peak performance. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing both electrical and mechanical systems on boats, which includes working on engines, propellers, and other critical components. You will be expected to perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements, and to conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate into more significant problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine technical work, with at least three years of experience in the field. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with clients and team members regularly. Reliability is crucial, as you will need to transport yourself and your tools to various job sites.
