About The Position

Marine Technician / Marine Mechanic (Boat Repair Technician) Rochester, MN Full-Time | Year-Round | Up to $40/Hour River Valley Marine is hiring an experienced Marine Technician / Boat Mechanic to join our professional service team in Rochester. If you have technician experience in marine, automotive, diesel, RV, or powersports repair , this is a high-paying, year-round career opportunity with manufacturer training and long-term growth potential. Marine experience is preferred, but strong mechanical technicians from other industries are encouraged to apply. Pay & Schedule Up to $40/hour total compensation (based on experience & performance) Hourly base + efficiency incentives Monday–Friday schedule Full-time, year-round employment Predictable hours What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair boat engines and marine systems Perform maintenance, winterization, and seasonal prep Work on outboards, inboards, and sterndrives Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently Collaborate with service advisors and parts team What We’re Looking For Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Professional shop experience Attention to detail and pride in quality work Reliable, self-motivated team player Manufacturer-paid training and certifications available.
