What You'll Do Diagnose and repair outboard and inboard systems with confidence and precision Perform OEM-level service, rigging, repowers, and accessory installations Complete electrical, mechanical, and performance upgrades Conduct safety inspections and water tests to ensure high performance standards Collaborate with service advisors and sales staff to support customer satisfaction Identify additional service opportunities that improve reliability and performance Maintain accurate repair documentation and an organized, efficient work area

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marine technician experience (dealership experience preferred)
  • Manufacturer certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser) strongly preferred
  • MMI graduate a plus
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • Comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and rigging systems
  • Productive, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Willing to work Saturdays (closed Sunday + one weekday off)
  • Team-oriented with a positive, growth-focused mindset
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in shop conditions
  • Overtime may be required during peak seasons

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturer certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser) strongly preferred
  • MMI graduate a plus

Responsibilities
