About The Position
The Marine Mammal Stranding Internship at the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in marine mammal rescue and conservation. This internship, running from mid-January to the last week of May 2025, involves hands-on experience in stranding response, animal care, and public outreach, all aimed at promoting the conservation of marine mammal species and their habitats. Interns will work closely with experienced staff, gaining valuable skills in marine mammal rescue operations and contributing to the welfare of stranded animals on Cape Cod.
