As a Marine Mammal Monitor (Biological Science Assistant) with the Marine Resources Program (MRP) in Oregon City, Oregon, you will: Monitor marine mammal predation of ESA listed salmon and steelhead and white sturgeon Monitor marine mammal foraging behavior and feeding activity in a 1.5-mile reach downstream of the falls and Quantify total predation related losses in the certain fish runs Data entry, summary and tabulation of data, and relaying data to the supervisor The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
